Just curious- how much are you planning on giving to each?

what is considered an appropriate “tip” to FA and, of course, pilots?

I thought about the same but don’t want to be over the top nor insulting

For a while I carried a handful of SB gift cards around for those going above and beyond. I typically did $10 each but had the same question that you just asked today. Wasn’t sure if the giving had gone up since my heavy travel days.

Try ringing your call button so you can give a Starbucks gift card to anybody that responds before landing. You probably will have some left for future flights

FWIW I had need to push the call button on a recent SQ long haul flight. A FA appeared in seconds. And as for relevance to this part of FT, my miles went to my UA program.

The gesture is nice and all, but I would suggest just giving out gift cards where recipients can buy whatever they want instead of burnt coffee.
