Thanks for posting - I’m taking HND-ORD later today, and I’m sure it will be the same menu.
Which entree did you choose and how was it???

This is true -- we experienced it a few weeks ago... and the J lounge was PACKED....

I got the beef cheek; it was very tender and tasty, I liked it.

I liked the Gouda and the cheddar also.

I had the beef cheek as well today. Agree it was very good. Tender, not fatty nor dry, sauce was excellent. 👍
Excellent crew/service, flight not full, mostly Japanese pax, and Haneda airport is half closed down. Odd times.
And an aborted landing and go around at ORD to top it off!😃

Yes, I just arrived in NRT on UA flight 7924 from ORD and enjoyed some very good Japanese food served by ANA flight attendants.

I can confirm this. I just arrived in NRT on ANA 121 (purchased as UA 7924) with the new seat, and it felt like a park bench that reclines. Very hard and no lumbar support. I'm used to firm Japanese bedding, but this seat was in another league.

ANA is not offering a mattress pad? I guess another option is to request a couple extra comforters to lay on the seat. I’ve had the some of my best night’s sleep in tatami rooms by grabbing extra comforters and stacking them to sleep on.

Even with the “firmness” of the seat, the overall seat design, cabin service and food options make Polaris look like a bad flight on Spirit in comparison.

They didn't supply you with the blue pad? Did you let them make the bed?

When did you experience this, and at NRT or HND? NH's website says that the separate F and J lounges are operational, and I only had J lounge access in December and January.

I was at HND yesterday. J lounge access only. I specifically asked at both lounges.

There would not be close to enough space in Suite Lounge to accept J class pax. Maybe in the early pandemic days?

It was a daytime flight, so I didn't spend much time lying down to sleep. I was mostly lounging in a reclined position, but it was difficult to get comfortable in such a hard seat.

The new lounge, down stairs. It's nice, clean, quiet, and the food to order was quickly prepared and tasty.
