Using United app as a guest

If you use the United app as a guest , ie not an MP member , and check in - does the boarding pass show up - can it be accessed through the my trips tab after check in ? Or do you re enter record locator to pull it up each time ? Have never used an app and mobile boarding pass before , so checking thanks

Just need to enter the confirmation number once, and it will stay there.

Most trip functions can be access without the need to login.

also, if looking for BP, at least on an iPhone, you can download that to your wallet. Not sure how updates work (ie, gate change, etc.) but since the PNR should stay tied to the app, theoretically it should be able to push the updates through.

To be safe, screenshot one's boarding pass (BP).

IME updates do get transferred automatically to the wallet. This makes me nervous that my boarding pass might disappear from the wallet if there is a glitch with the app but so far that has never happened to me.
