favorite restaurants/food places in UA hubs

I was thinking about how much I like the Potbelly subs at the midfield terminal at Dulles.

I was wondering if anyone else here has particular favorite restaurants/food stands/culinary places at UA hub airports.

I second Tortas Frontera at ORD. Hubcap Grill at IAH Term A (not a place for many UA flights) and Pappadeaux at IAH Term E.

Laundry’s at IAH. A real restaurant with real servers. Yes you can use an iPad, but you don’t have to ala OTG. Great gumbo, decent shrimp.

Elways in DEN B concourse right by the train escalators. (Operated by the same company that runs Ritz-Carlton so no wonder.)

TOTALLY!!! The bartender I think named "John" makes an outstanding spicy smoky mezcal bloody mary!

I also really like Pappadeux's at IAH (altho I think someone posted they're gone?)...

Pappadeux at IAH.

Although my priority pass gets me food at Landry's.

Also a pappadeux at DFW - it's my all around favorite restaurant, the food quality is just unmatched for seafood. Even their baked potato is better then any steakhouse potato I've had.

I like BThumme’s choice of Pappadeux, although I haven’t been to the one at IAH.

Also New Belgium Brewing at DEN, although it has changed locations and menu a bit since I was there last. (I like beer!)

+1 to Pappadeux at IAH.

I also really like Boudin at SFO (though if we're strictly talking value for money, Yankee Pier takes Priority Pass).

There's a Five Guys at IAD (take the train to B and then back to C/D after).

I wish Boudin hadn't closed in the domestic terminal - perhaps they had trouble competing with Klein's Deli which is now my go to place at SFO to grab a sandwich to take on the plane. I haven't really found anything decent to go at LAX.

For priority pass - although the food is only "ok" I go to Giant's Clubhouse - Yankee Pier has this odor to it that doesn't agree with me.

Another vote for Pappadeaux in IAH, although they cut down the menu since the Pandemic and they no longer serve some of the items I used to order.

Tortas at ORD is my favorite, but I also like Cadillac at IAH (Priority Pass and a nice alternative to Landry’s). Salmon is great at Yankee Pier SFO. Don’t care for any of the OTG places in EWR. Honestly, I’m not impressed by the options at LAX either, though the Fatburger in T6 is within walking distance of UA T7. Finally, I love Shakeshack in DEN. Always nice.

Not a hub, but Vienna (Cuban) in MIA is great…such good coffee and sandwiches.
