Meal/prearrival snack - are all meh, aside from the Albanese gummy bears that's usually on the SFO-BOS-SFO segments.
Are you trying to imply IAD-SFO is an easier upgrade?!

FWIW I do have MINIMAL better luck with instrument assisted/CPU IAD-SFO than BOS-SFO but that's not saying much.

Scored the unicorn CPU as a Gold on last Sunday's BOS - SFO flight

6am flight that was booked 12 / 20 at check in around T-23.

Didn't have time to check UC access unfortunately, but the boarding pass showed "business" so I'm quite sure it would have worked. Very good service throughout the flight.

On today's (11/26) 8 AM BOS-SFO (752 with lie flat) our BPs show "First Class". We are both GS, so not sure if the First Class BP would have given access to the UC...
The outbound 752 SFO-BOS had full Polaris bedding (pillow + gel pillow + blanket)

IAD-SFO could be as difficult as EWR-SFO for upgrades.

This is incredible. 1Ks with PP may not even clear BOS-SFO flights.

Other than before and after Thanksgiving, November is generally a slower time for flying. The 6am also helps with upgrades.

Note the # of empty seats up front.

I'm flying SFO-BOS RT soon and do not expect any chance of a CPU. The seat maps are so odd showing 752 without the lie flat seating and using regular square domestic first seats.

Changes in 752 / 753 seatmaps -- some blocked middles, wrong lie-flat icon

Thanks. Missed the part in that thread about the wrong icons for the lie-flat seats.

Will SFO-BOS become "ps" again?

So it looks like sometime around March they start exclusively running 757-200s on the SFO-BOS route. Curious if there is any indication this will flip back to being an official ps route with elevated service/lounge access/limited upgrades?

Lounge access never went away. Elevated service currently hit/miss. The 752s have not been consistent on this route for quite some time. Plenty of speculation in other threads on whether and when this route 'officially' re-joins EWR-SFO/LAX.

"Elevated service" on any UA route is currently a dubious concept in any event.
