It’s been a rough few days.

Costas was one of my closest friends at United. He was a fantastic guy, always smiling and an absolute pleasure to fly with. Spent many nights together over the Atlantic on our way to Europe the past few years..

He had an unique passion for promoting aviation to the next generation of pilots, volunteering and speaking to university clubs. He accomplished so very much at such a young age and will be missed. We lost a great one with a long career ahead of him.

Prayers to Costas and Lindsey’s family, cannot fathom what they’ve been dealing with this week.

Its only glossed over in the USA today article, but Lindsey was also a UA FA. Shes from around our region, so there was a little more info on her locally:

Just tragic. I know they were popular, well-known members of the UAL family and I send their friends and loved ones my heartfelt condolences.
