I don't love the G haul (especially from E security if you happen not to notice the gate or want to use the GS path), but at least there's some thought put into making sure the plane has a gate in SFO... Landed UA2093 this morning in EWR at 6:50am and wasn't off the plane until more than an hour later. Pilot blamed "congestion in the alleyway" before finally conceding 45 minutes in that the congestion was actually our occupied gate . I used to love the 930 redeye because you could zoom into the city before traffic and hit the hay before meetings... alas, no longer.

Epilogue, flight not cancelled, gate agent couldn't care less about the downgrade. 753 is polaris provisioned -- including NC headphones that have nowhere to be plugged in .

OLots of bewildered faces in the F cabin. Clown show.

The non lie flats should not be sold as business. They should be sold as premium plus
