For schedule changes/cancellations >6 hours on wholly DOMESTIC US itineraries, UA should be refunding (look under Schedule Change table).

For schedule changes/cancellations >6 hours on involving international itineraries, UA is providing credit. However, if flight departs EU on schedule changes/cancellations >5 hours, they are going against EC261/2004 if not refunding.
Notice of Passenger RIghts provided under EC261/2004 is linked on UA page.

How much of your money does UA hold right now?
Between "pending" refunds, travel certificates, not-yet flown reservations, travelbank cash (OK, that isn't quite "your" money) -- or even passplus -- etc., how much of your money is tied up in UA's accounts right now?
Perhaps this can be the interim "Milestone" thread. Although I have mixed feelings about these calculations — I would much rather we could be flying normally and not worrying about refunds — but nevertheless I think the goal would be to get to $0 in the near term.
Feel free to break it down in any way or just give a lump sum.

For me it is a bit over $4k total (taxes inclusive), mostly ETCs and pending refunds. I'm sure for some others it is much more.

Was $2,000, but when I moved our Italy/Spain trip from April to August—what can I say, I'm an optimist—fares in PE were 10% higher than when I booked, and they wouldn't budge on the fare diff. I bit the bullet and forked over another $200.
So $2,200.
Oh, plus an upcoming award trip BOS>IAD>VIE>ODS>KBP>IST>KTM. That's 125K miles, but who's counting.
