Premium Economy on SFO-FRA # 926 / 9127? Exists?

On ticketing websites, SFO-FRA flight 926 /9127 operated by United shows this flight as available "Premium Economy". However, it is on Boeing 777-200/300 which does not have Premium Economy. It does show Polaris in two classes.

Have you flown this flight in Premium Economy, or do we know how does this work in practice?

UA's 777 fleet is in transition. UA won't sell PE on a route if it does not intend to provide it. Whilst there can be a last minute change, in practice UA has far more 777s which have PE than they need to fly the routes where they are selling it. Go ahead and book PE with confidence. In the very unlikely event that UA doesn't have PE on a subbed in aircraft, you will either get upgraded FOC or you will receive downgrade compensation.

UA has both 777-300ER and 777-200ER aircraft with Premium Economy seating, which should fly your SFO-FRA.

Every -300 in the fleet has PE seating, as do a significant number of the internationally-configured -200s. If you look at the seat map on United.com, the purple seats are PE. A quick search for an upcoming SFO-FRA flight shows that both daily flights have PE cabins.
