What’s the new ghetto bird?
With the final 3 class 763 looking like it’s heading to HKG in the imminent future for Polaris, what’s the new ghetto bird? The 3 class 772 in biz is an obvious nomination. But the Y class is now one of the better options still being 9 abreast. pmCO 772 is another showing its age but again has a reasonable Y class. Also- sticking to mainline only. Half the UAX fleet qualifies has ghetto bird.

Another vote for 77G(hetto).
Tight 3-4-3, no embedded IFE and obnoxious FA call button placement (though in fairness the several fixes they’ve implemented seem to have reduced the rate of inadvertent chimes).

I'm with you. I frequently fly Embraers out of my small home airport, and then connect to 737s. The E145 has more legroom, decent seats, and the A seats guarantee you don't have anyone sitting next to you. Great little plane.

I do wonder why some of the UAX carriers use CRJs instead of E145s. They are way better - not even a contest.

Another vote for the 777G. Absolutely no good seat on the plane. I’m pretty sure I’d rather fly DL or AA with no status than this one again.

... and another for the 77G. No decent seat on the plane — rough in Y and pretty bad in J. That said, in F it certainly beats one of the ancient 738s to Hawaii.
