Check your 2018 status & 2017 in review
The status updates have happened online and in the app -- at least for me.
The app membership card presently has no expiration date (but is updated) Update -- Valid until 1/2019 is now showing --
(I know because I have dropped from 1K after 10 years) -- retirement and too much award flying. is

Weird, I went from 1K to Gold, but even refreshing the app still shows 1K moments ago. I know UA isn't showing me any love, as I got the Gold kit in the mail... Meanwhile, my other accounts reflect my new, lower status. I'll take the time to update my FT info another day, its to late this evening.

Yep, I'm heading to retirement, too. Dropped from 1k for first time in about 15 years, but have platinum for life. Haven't received the new card/kit for 2018. Hope to get it soon before I travel on Lufthansa. I don't want to be without it when I attempt to enter their lounge.

Dropped from Plat to Gold, which I don't expect I'll even notice; the chief reason I was excited to make Plat was fee-free award changes, and they snatched that away from me. [shakes tiny fist]
In fact I may not even fly UA in 2018. DL and B6 lie-flat BOS<>SFO are both generally cheaper than UA right now, and I can get better use of my remaining UA miles on LH or LX.

By chance, did the system perhaps pull RPUs out of sequence for you when you applied them?
