United Airlines / Global Entry or TSA Pre Check Credit

United used to give a free code to Platinum / 1K / GS members for Global Entry. Now with the announcement that TSA PreCheck for elites is being rolled back, do you think United will bring back the free code for its top elites?

On the other hand, a lot of the good travel CCs offer free GE or Precheck as a benefit. I have the Chase CSR. Lots of others offer it too now. Bet a lot of 1ks and plats have one of these.

UA is now allowing the use of miles to pay the PreCheck fee.

Some companies also allow employees to expense the GE fee. It's the best $100 I've ever spent.

Although, it should be noted that this is a terrible use of miles (.85 cents per mile in value...).
