Different FF programs on same reservation

I am looking at flying

DUB-LHR-EWR-MCO

DUB-LHR UA flight number but operated by Aer Lingus
LHR-EWR-MCO all UA flight number operated by United.

Can I use my UA frequent flyer number for the DUB-LHR and then my Turkish one for the remaining flights?

DUB-LHR won't earn me any miles on my TK account but will on my United one.

yes, you can earn by segment on *A. It can be tedious, but it is possible. At the airport where you wish to change your FQTV# ask the GA to change it.

Multiple reports this has been unreliable for the past few years.

If I were you, I would not put the number in until I reach LHR.

Then you can manually request credit from UA for DUB-LHR.

I have done this as recently as 3 weeks ago and it worked very well crediting some segments to UA and other to LH ... no problem whatsoever.

YMMV, but w/ different operating carriers and splitting that up should not be an issue. Taking a connecting flight on UA and changing the program at the connecting airport is trickier ... but it can be done.

How did you go about doing it? I rang up today and was told this was not possible.
