I posted in his thread but I believe our own ua1flyer makes an appearance too! They're playing it onboard personal IFE flights too

I don't mean to be a party pooper... the video's cute, but combined with the many other videos that play on DirectTV equipped aircraft, it's annoying.

Yesterday my flight out of DEN was delayed because of the snow (duh!) Past midnight, when everybody wanted to sleep, we had to endure the pre-security video teaser, the security video, the holiday video, the stupid, stupid DirectTV infomercial, and the Explorer card commercial. It was long, loud and annoying as hell.

We don't need more videos... especially those of us who fly often end up seeing them a gazillion times.

I saw this last Tuesday on my PDX flight and thought it was a nice touch. Much better than the safety video... (i think it's long and awkward but that's IMO).

I thought the video was a pleasant surprise. Now that the Jeff video is pulled, it's not much longer than it was before.

New United Season's Greetings
Saw this for the first time on Friday on a 787. I flew Monday on 757 and they didn't show it so maybe it started 12/1.


Cute spin on their safety videos, I think.
