When you tell a taxi driver where you're going you expect them to say "You got it."

1) when your son changes your ring tone to rhapsody in blue as a prank - and everyone you know thinks it's funny

2) when you look for parking at IAD around 1K in the garage....as a memory cue

3) when you go 3 weeks without feeling in your 4th and 5th fingers because of how those poorly padded armrests in the 2-4-2 lie-flats catch your ulnar nerve

-When you open of the hemispheres magazine and found the last person to write in it was you

-When 2 of the GS agents in syd give you a hug to welcome you home every time they see you

...when you spend 30 minutes the day before your flight to outline the alternatives both on UA and OAL because you know UA has a high propensity to either have a mechanical delay or cancel the flight you are on.

This is in addition to the staff that know and recognize you in YVR, SFO and still a few in ORD.

Cheers

Talking You Know You Fly United Too Much When...

When you've PTSD from the CPU battleground.
When you redeem points at 2cpm & can live with it.
When your highest desire is a SASU.
When you tell people not to leave home for EWR until after you've landed.
When you think JFK is a pleasure.

-- when flying Sundays from SFO to PVG and you don't need to even read the menu before ordering
-- when the FA ex-PVG knows you AND what you drink
-- when the same FA puts a few extra bottles of Jim in his coat pocket "to make sure you'll have enough to get home"
-- when the GS staff in LAX know you and what seat you'll be in
-- when you've helped two people this week alone learn what Expert Mode is, how to enable it, and how to read the fare buckets
-- when the GS staff at SFO recognize you and ask how your wife is
-- when you know 1K is the best seat on the 747 from SFO because of the views of the Golden Gate Bridge on takeoff (sorry Bruin1K)

You look for UA flights ahead of time and give the flight numbers and fares to the corporate travel agent so they don't even think to look on Delta.

When the United Club agent at ATL recognizes you and compliments your weight loss ...

... And then you're sad that there is no ATL UC any more.

Ouch! I've never found my signature, I think that would hurt.

When if you don't read Hemispheres cover to cover in a month, you check online to see if you missed anything.

(Extra helping of shame if you do that for Rhapsody.)

... when you're sitting in the penalty box at EWR, on a UAX ERJ-145, and the flight attendant makes a beeline to seat 18A, and addresses you by name to personally apologize for the flight delay this morning.
