missing row on seat map

missing row on seat map
hi ive logged into my booking and me and my dad are flying on a 777-200 with a 2 class configuration and I selected my self to be at the window with my dad next to me then I noticed the row in front (row 37?) had no seats across the whole row and wasn't even numbered it was just row 38 were we were sat and row 36 and a gap between us which should be row 37 but isn't numbered or anything do any of you guys no why thanks

I'm guessing you're in an exit row, right next to the lavatories. One of these?

Different planes have different seating configurations, and United numbers the rows to try to get some level of consistency across the fleet.

In other news, please do try to use a bit of punctuation here and there. Try putting in a comma or period wherever you would pause in your speech. It'll help make things much more understandable.

Just found this thread and wondered what the outcome was of this missing row 37 on the seatmap? I'm on the same plane shortly for the LHR to EWR route, and currently in row 36.
I suspect there isn't actually a gap there - perhaps its a row of seats they don't sell for some reason?. Just want to be sure I don't get a seat that doesn't recline, or one that has people standing behind it leaning on the chair etc..

Note there is a version of the 772 used for service to HNL that does have missing row 37 on the sides but that is not the aircraft for your flight.
