UA Named Official Airline of San Francisco 49ers and Levi’s® Stadium

The Santa Clara Stadium Authority and San Francisco 49ers announced today that United Airlines will be the exclusive domestic and international commercial airline partner of the San Francisco 49ers and Levi’s® Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

As part of a 10-year agreement, United Airlines will present an exclusive club located on the 300-level of the suite tower designed to accommodate over 3,300 ticketed guests for 49ers games, special public events and private catered events. At 44,000-square feet, the United Club is the largest club space in Levi’s® Stadium.

Is United paying a fee to the stadium for this arrangement, or do they just get all that space for free?

Can't wait for the packaged crackers and cheese! But all joking aside the United Club at Soldier Field is not bad at all.

The Niners will now fly their opponents in exclusively on UA, to make them as tired as possible due to "issues" during the journey

I would guess that UA will supply the charter flights for the 49'ers

Looks like the Niners and Stadium, like everyone else based in SFO, had no realistic alternative other than UA.

(yes, I know, the stadium is much closer to SJC, etc).

More likely they won't show up for the game and forfeit due to IRROPS handling.

They may want to leave 2 days before they're scheduled because of all the MX cancellations... and no, don't count on UA putting you on another carrier.
