Applying GPU while waiting for codeshare confirm
I just bought a ticket that has a Brussels Air leg connecting to a UA leg. The final ticketing is waiting for Brussels to confirm. In the meantime, there is ON availability and I would like to apply a GPU to go from J to F. Anyone know how to do before final ticketing is confirmed?

I had a similar experience last year. I wanted to use 2 GPUs on a TATL itinerary. R was available on both overwater segments on UA, but with connections to and from BRU on Brussels Airlines. It took 24 hours after booking for UA to confirm the ticket because of the codeshare. In that time, the R space disappeared on the return. I emailed 1K Voice and explained the issue. Happily, within a day or two I was contacted by a CS agent who was able to work whatever magic and apply my GPU to the flight whereon R had been zeroed-out.
