Crazy Scheduling
Ok,
Here is a good one. I'm on UA 5676 tonight, which is supposed to depart EWR at 9:38. The inbound flight is UA 4414 which is not even scheduled to arrive until 9:59. The website which is currently showing as on-schedule (no delays). This is an interesting one as the timetable shows the same.

I know that, but either they have to have a swap or my flight is going to leave late. I've seen short turnarounds before be never noticed a schedule that is flat out impossible. Arriving aircraft is 21 minutes after departure time.
Could the folks at the front desk in the UA club get any better information?

If this is UAX, which the flight # indicates, this is common. Either the inbound for the preceding flight information is off or there is a swap in process or both. Lastly, also possible that they aren't actively working on a swap, but the likelihood of a swap is sufficient that publishing a delay creates more bad information than it's worth.

Or they are hoping there is enough pad in the schedule to make up the time through out the day.
I think every flight now is blocked out for significantly longer then actual flying time....
