I pretty much booked this 24 hours out. I tried to redeem a GPU online but it didn't work and said my RPU wasn't valid. I called and was upgraded on all segments. I don't know why but the agent upgraded me to GF on SIN-HKG.

Went on line this morning to change a paid biz flight to BKK in mid-April. One of my options was to fly via SFO (UA/ANA) rather than via LAX (ANA to NRT/BKK) as originally booked. The cost to make the change was roughly $600. The good news is, it came in as a D fare (original fare was Z) and I applied GPU and got instant upgrade to int'l first SFO-NRT.
