Angry UA Passengers tweet @unitedairlanes, a parody airline account...
Hi All,
I did a search, but did not see this posted anywhere. Mods, if I missed it please close/merge as appropriate.
A friend on facebook posted this...did not see it here on FT.

Then the user realized many angry customers had been sending tweets...
I think I remember seeing something at one time about UA being unhappy with untied.com and, I'd suspect, they might not appreciate this either.

The @UnitedAirlanes parody account was created in May 2012 and tweeted for a month before going silent.
I think I remember seeing something at one time about UA being unhappy with untied.com and, I'd suspect, they might not appreciate this either.

Yes, I hate these sites. Most complaints are not well-based, and are just for bashing/trolling.

I agree. I also find some of the tweets to be a bit over the top. While it was established as a parody, mockery seems unnecessary...even for some of the fairly ridiculous things some complain about.

I think it is brilliantly hilarious. Parody only exists when the truth is there. UA gets punked on it's own twitter feed on its 'ask the pilot' feed.

It looks like they were forced to change from @UnitedAirlanes to @DividedAirlanes Anybody have the scoop on this. Did UA force this on them?

@untitledairlane is so totally spot-on with the ridiculous self-entitled self-justifying kind of passenger that makes all flying less pleasant. More a deserved mockery of the passenger than the airline. Hallejuah.
