UA 1885 11 MAY 2013 -- what type of flight is this?

Anyone have any insight into what's up with this flight? It's a 738 headed from PWM to MSN, continuing on to San Salvador. PWM and MSN have minimal operations and no scheduled mainline service from UA, so I'm wondering how this thing will get catered, why/how many people are actually flying these routes, etc. Thanks in advance for any knowledge or suggestions.

Probably a charter of some type. As for catering, you'd be surprised what they can cater on private charters.

I wish that this was a regular flight. It would be quite literally perfect for me.
Number seems too low to be a charter though I could be wrong.

I wouldn't associate the seat map with how full the flight actually was.

Or me misreading WIRunner's post, thinking "number seems too low" was about the passengers. On the seat map there were about 6 or 7 seats "occupied".

Ah, OK, thanks for the clarification

FWIW, seatmaps showed wide open except the usual blocked 7 C & D for me.

For some reason I was thinking 9XXX flights were the charters. I swore at one point I was on an 18XX flight.

Anywho, I can only wish that UA flew PWM-MSN regularly, it would be worth the 2hr drive for me.
