10th Anniversary (Personalized Message on United's Website)
I just went to the united homepage and on it was a message congratulating me for being a Mileage Plus member for the last 10 years. Maybe I'm easy to please, but kind of a nice touch.

It's showing one for me -- for my 20th anniversary

The new UA has been doing these anniversary greetings for awhile -- for the rest of us will need to until our next 5 year increment. At one time this was done at the gate, probably easier to do on the web site.

Maybe a cost-cutting measure? Maybe no more personalized cards at the gate?
Or maybe not all longtime members are frequent flyers, so this might be more of a sure way to reach them? But then again, I used to just get a simple email message, which is probably more effective if the issue is reaching the customer.

I saw one for my 25th anniversary earlier this week and was surprised -- that means I was 14 when I got my account. I went back to my records and discovered thats when I joined OnePass.

I hit my 10 year anniversary back in 2011 but didn't have a message. Then again, .bomb was in full operation so it looks like a new component of the website. It's a nice touch by United!

Received my 30th Anniversary banner today (27may2013)...actual enrollment date was 03 JUN 1983 so it posts 7 days ahead. Oh my goodness....30 years!!!!!
