This was actually a matter of some hot debate in my office...
Rather than fight it, I've just added that as a configurable option, and pushed v1.13
In the configurable block at the top, you'll now see a value for "precision". I've left this set to 2 by default. However, if you're so inclined, you can set this to 3, 4 or 15, as you see fit...
Enjoy!

You da man!!
Existing reservations now showing with your data!! Using version 1.13. For those who missed it, it will be right under where the price is listed for the ticket. Also, nice job in taking into account multiple pax on a single record. Well thought out!!
And it even gets the 500 mile minimum! You have defeated United's mighty IT department at their own game!! Even they can't do that!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UPDATE: Added MileagePlus credit card bonus miles into calculations
Dear FT:
Version 1.14 of the script has been released, which includes the option to have the 2 miles-per-$1 bonus for MileagePlus Explorer and Club card holders, included in the RDM calculation.
If you are a cardholder and want to include these bonus miles in the mileage calculations, download the new version and when configuring your preferences, set the "useCreditCard" value to 1. (It is set to zero, by default, in the newly-released version.)
(If you download the new version, be sure to also confirm your Premier level settings are still correct!)
In addition to being included in the total RDM earned calculation, the segment detail will now also include a final line labeled "cc)" for Credit Card, so you can see how the calculation was made.
As always, any feedback or requests for future updates appreciated.
Enjoy!

Very cool utility!
Any idea why it wouldn't work on the preview.united.com website?
Looking at the script, I would think "*.united.com" would cover the preview website.
It does show the fare codes properly.
Thanks!

If something changed in Preview hits the live site, we'll update ASAP to get it working again. But I suspect that the failure is in Preview only...

No idea... I don't have access to the preview site, so I can't debug it. My guess is that the element names on the preview site are different somehow -- which wouldn't be uncommon between development & production systems -- and that's throwing off the script.
