February 24, thirty years ago this year . . . but it seems I don't merit the anniversary banner (at least, not yet). Original MP number began 000212 . . .

Of the predecessor programs now merged into MP, I suspect (as a DCA-based traveler in the early '80s) that I go back further with the EA program.

1995 but started to collect properly in 1997 (Premier).
The PE in 98 and 1K later the same year .... until one month ago ... so 14 years.

Very early. My MP number was 00010 283 xxx.

I still have it memorized; I still don't know my new number.

1997 - and it will have taken 16 years to reach 1MM, with 80% of that done in the last 6 years.

As a kid I had Eastern and Pan Am (1 flt. each)... had no idea what it was all about.

Joined MP on 2/2/99, saw the banner for my 15 year anniversary. i thought it was funny that they didn't realize I had stopped flying them earlier in 2012.

October 1981.

My original number (which also was used by United-owned Westin) began with 000 84 xxx xxx.

One time, I used my mileage plus credit card in a major department store, and the clerk said: "You are one of the early Mileage Plus members." When I asked how he knew, he mentioned that the number was 000 xx. I wonder if that was an accurate way to detemine?!

Interestingly, my current new MP number was my original Eastern frequent flyer number which was adopted by Continental -and now the new United!

It took me until the 1990s, but I eventually achieved UA Million Mile status - downgraded now, for what it is worth!

7/1/1983..... Which was probably my first TPAC run. My account number started with 00030....

My earlier travels were TWA, I joined when it was first announced (May 1981, as I recall). I was very loyal to them. We were given little stickers with our account number on them to place on the tickets to receive credit.

MP 2/2/87

I seem to remember recently getting an advertisment noting my 26 years in MP, but I think they were just trying to sell me something.

I joined Mileage Plus in Fall, 2002 (not sure exactly when) and Onepass in Summer, 2001...probably July or August.

The first FFP that I joined was American on March 17, 1992.
