I just got a happy 20th anniversary banner on my Mileage Plus page. How long have you been a member? According to Wikipedia, FF programs have been in existence since 1979.

Anyone know where to look on UA.sux?
It was easy to find on UA.bomb.

My M+ summary printout says I got a sign-up bonus in April 1984.

1982 or 1983, Eastern Air Lines Executive Traveller.

UA since 1982 I think (I was 1 or 2). My old MP number was 00106... I don't have a 20th anniversary banner though :(

Since 1986 (I was 10 years old). Former MP number began 0012.

I noticed that my MP enrollment date is annotated in my account summary on the iPhone app.

Joined MP in 1981. Original FF # 0002...

Same here, EA ET. They initially used our Social Security Number as an ID, then switched to home telephone number!

On UA, ~1983 with 00070xxxxxx.

I have been a MileagePlus member since April 24, 1981 which is about 2 weeks before MP was launched on May 6, 1981.

Joined the OnePass program back in 1989.

Joined MP in '87, just after my 2nd birthday. (In hindsight, it was nice of the parents to sign me up; they must have realized I'd one day seek MM status.)

Was signed up in 1997, when I was a couple months old.

UA create a FF program in mid, late 1981 and I have been a member since 1985.

Joined MP in 1984 - In those days when I traveled on free trip received mileage credit. Was Prem Exec (75K days for premier exec) starting in 1988 and remained at that level until 1998 at which point became a 1K. Early days of 1K exceeded today's GS service. Those days are long gone.

12/31/1999, I flew on a redeye SFO-IAD and listened to the pilots chatting with ATC, wondering if the computers were all going to crash.

Sadly, 4/10/2001. I flew a fair number of uncredited miles in the years prior. Dumb.

Another interesting question would be when you first attained elite status on United. Which for me wouldn't have been until possibly 2004? (Originally thought 2005 but then noticed I've been on FT since 2003 and I believe it was the following year I was first a lowly 2P... obviously I can go back and check my posts!)

Which they don't offer for my platform...

Seems to me some folks reported receiving congratulatory e-mails at their 20-yr anniversary w/ MP but I never did (~22 yrs in).

I joined MP on February 15, 1983 and received a 30 year anniversary banner on the UA Website.

Going on year 26

Enrolled in OnePass on 7/24/1995, on a CDG-IAH return flight; was able to get retroactive credit for the earlier flight over the pond.

I opened nascent SkyMiles and WorldPerks accounts back in the 80s, but haven't flown Delta in decades, so those are probably long gone.

Never flew United until the merger.
