Website Error message
I have not been able to book a flight in two days now on united.com - is anyone else having this problem?
The error page I got right after submitting my credit card information gave me a phone number for support. They just offered to book the flight for me, and despite the fact I gave them my mileage plus number, they asked me for all of my information item by item. I reminded them three times that they have my number, and they said they were able to see my information and apologized each time. I was told that I would be charged a non-refundable $25 fee - which I asked be waived as I was attempting to make the reservation online. After all this, the reservation was made, i was charged the $25, and the reservation did not include my MP number, so no economy plus. Easy enough to fix, but took almost 35 minutes for the whole process.
I called today to see if the problem could be fixed - cleared cookies, history per their instructions, but no change. Finally I was told others are having similar problems - but I still get the error message right after the payment page.
Does anyone have any ideas so that i can book myself? Tried both Safari and Firefox.
