Wrong Credit Card on Receipt
Well this is a new one for me (and didn't find anything searching the forum). I just booked a ticket through Chase Ultimate Rewards travel paying using a credit card -- have done this many times before but I can see that the Chase travel agency's software has changed since the last time I did a transaction through them.
Receipt on UA website after ticketing shows 'Visa' (I used a MC) and last 4 digits don't match any of my CC's. Chase has it right -- the ticket charge is already pending against the correct CC which would suggest that the travel agency has the CC correct in the reservation.
Anybody seen this before, and do I need to be concerned with this ticket possibly being cancelled at some point?

It could be a Credit card that Chase has used once they took your points.
One time I booked a hotel through hotwire and when I went to check my reservation on the hotels website I noticed that it wasn't my credit card # but it was a different credit card # (probably Hotwires cc#). As long as you have a confirmation & proof of purchase you shouldn't be worried, but you can always call chase to confirm since you booked through them.

Doesn't matter if Chase, acting as a TA uses its "on us" # or your #. The carrier gets paid and you as a pax get charged. If you have any concerns, call Chase and they will explain what they did.

Certainly UA won't care if they get paid, and Chase already has posted to my CC. I will call them though to see what explanation they come up with -- I'm expecting they'll blame UA, doesn't everyone?

I Purchased my tickets though my chase app on chase travel isind my chase visa and on my united airlines receipt it's showing a random Mastercard (don't even have one). Why does this happen and what if I have trouble with my flight and need a refund or something? The card won't match what I have!

Indeed. Chase Travel uses their own credit card to purchase tickets from UA, which is why UA will not refund such tickets directly back to passengers (pax).
