One time I booked a hotel through hotwire and when I went to check my reservation on the hotels website I noticed that it wasn't my credit card # but it was a different credit card # (probably Hotwires cc#). As long as you have a confirmation & proof of purchase you shouldn't be worried, but you can always call chase to confirm since you booked through them.
No points used, only $, so that's why I don't understand; it's 100% money charged to my CC, but I do get the point about having a confirmation. It's just weird.
Certainly UA won't care if they get paid, and Chase already has posted to my CC. I will call them though to see what explanation they come up with -- I'm expecting they'll blame UA, doesn't everyone?
