Missing Reservation on United.com

Hey folks,

I'm having an interesting and annoying phenomenon.

I booked a flight using Amex Travel like I always do. However instead of the reservation instantly showing up on united.com like it always does, it is still missing 1.5 days after it has been ticketed.

I can pull it up with PNR + Last name, it just doesn't show up on my upcoming reservation lists even though the first segment is 11/25/12

Anyone else had this happen? Not a huge deal, but very annoying. This is the first time I've had this happen.

Missing Reservation on United.com

Is your MP # showing correctly in the reservation? This Is the first thing I would check.

You can also save it to your account.

Ok, I called. United said somehow my number hadn't been added to the reservation. Which is strange because every other web-based reservation I've EVER made through Amex has worked flawlessly. For now I'm going to assume it was a one-time hiccup.

being united, this is unlikely to be a one off thing.

if memory serves, you should be able to add your mp number from the reservation screen on ua. com

for an existing reservation go to edit traveler info

So once you find a reservation, by PNR/Last Name, edit the traveler info and that would have corrected the problem

How do you figure? After all, the OP notes that every other one has worked properly.
