United's Fantasy Flights

United San Francisco is proud to announce the date of the 2012 Fantasy Flight.

United will operate a flight for over 50 special needs children and their family members on Saturday, December 1, 2012.

The children for this very worthy event come from Oakland’s Children’s Hospital, the Lucile Salter Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, UCSF Hospital.

United coworker volunteers will create a journey to the North Pole on a short flight around the Bay Area departing from Terminal 3.

I think CLE's fantasy flight is scheduled sometime the same week. I think the third but don't quote me on it. I have to double check the flyer again on Monday when I get back to work from RDO's... I do believe a full schedule will be out sometime within the next couple of weeks.

I emailed the SFO flight page tonight and asked about making a donation. I'd love to be able to help financially in some way.

UA has done this for years and it's a great program

QUESTION- Has CO ever done this kind of thing from EWR or IAH before? It's nice that CO execs FINALLY let a UA tradition stand that they don't make money with. Nice but surprising!

CO in CLE has done a Fantasy Flight to the North Pole for about 20 years.

UA in CLE has been continuing that tradition.

They work with local hospitals to get a "guest list".

It is a very special event.

Yes. To those of us who have worked with the flights, that's kind of insulting.

This is great to hear and always great to see companies giving back and employees rallying around a worthy cause. ^

Certainly did not mean to be insulting. I just had never heard if CO did this as well. It's nice to know they did
