Many years ago I began using a Chase Continental Visa, and continued using it following the merger since it is my oldest card and the annual fee is low. However, awhile back Chase sent me new cards, which turned out to be United Explorer cards. I've been waiting until my two years were up to churn the United Explorer card (which I cancelled some time ago when the annual fee was due). Does the transformation of my old Continental Visa into the United Explorer Card mean that I won't qualify for the sign-up bonus on the United Explorer Card even after two years?
