Here's hoping we have a much-improved 2013 MP program that will please many members. .... there has been more announced already than you may realize http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...eage-plus.html or http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...eculation.html on why no formal big bang announcement |

no and no reason to think so.
seem more wishful thinking than speculation there has been more announced already than you may realize http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...eage-plus.html or http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/unite...eculation.html on why no formal big bang announcement |
No, it's not going to be delayed. They've already sent out 2013 credentials. Last year's delay was driven by the integration of the two legacy programs.

Thanks WineCountryUA. However, this is not speculation on what might be in the program, as others have already speculated in the thread above you quoted. This is a new track for discussion. I'm asking if the program might be delayed with 11th hour changes for the several reasons cited.
The killer to idea of a delayed announcement is the 2013 program benefits booklet have been printed and delivered -- I got mine a week ago. There is no delay in announcing, there was just no big announced since there there were hardly any changes. UA Insider specifically stated the partner earning changes were delayed until the start of the 2013 program. It appears changes are not being rolled up to a single announcement but rather announced as they are "ready" (some might question the readiness issue). There is no visible action suggesting a delay announcement ad everything to date suggesting a no plans for a big bang announcement. But just MHO.

Just because they have sent out plastic cards and booklets for 2013 already does not preclude that they might be making 11th hour changes to the 2013 MP program. Would they perhaps wait a few extra days to announce such possible changes when finalized, or start the program and then a few days later announce several new changes? The new Premier status earned in 2012 for 2013 began when achieved in 2012 and carries through for 2013 until a higher Premier status might be earned in 2013. Persons are already receiving 2012 MP program Premier benefits for Premier status earned in 2012. ...

And remember, UA can change any aspect of MP at any time!
