UA : SFO-IAD *A Award Seat
Hi,
Trying to use AC Aeroplan points to redeem a biz seat from SFO-IAD and connecting on to LHR on the 9 39 am departure from IAD. Looking at both the red-eye departures on Aug 20th, I see plenty of availability on KVS up-front, but still no award seats available to Aeroplan.
Can anyone advise if there are any chances to grab a seat before Monday? Attaching the KVS screenshot here.

There are no saver award tickets available on either of the redeyes for United mileage redemptions either..in either first or economy. Only standard awards are available. Not looking good for award space to open up in economy.. possible something will open up in first on UA105.
Thanks SEA1K4EVR! Fingers crossed! How soon before departure does UA usually release inventory to *A partners?
I am currently booked on UA 954 direct to LHR, unfortunately, it doesn't have the lie-flat business seats :-( Miss on my part for not checking before I booked

While I do not know the answer to this for sure.. I believe that unless AC blocks it for some reason.. as soon as UA opens up saver award space it should be available for partners to redeem it. How long before the flight is anyone's guess. And it might be never. I did see there is USAirways space available in first class SFO-CLT (redeye)-IAD..with a morning arrival. UA flyers can redeem miles for this partner flight.. not sure if AC flyers can.
