Latest to Cancel Award Ticket?
I booked a saver award for the day after a tight return connection on a MR to protect myself in case of irrops. Is it possible to cancel the award less than 24hrs prior to departure if all works out fine?

I thought I recalled something about this not being possible in the new UA system...or perhaps that you can't book an award within 24 hours of departure?
