Don't do this. Please tell her where she is going. She will resent not being prepared for the destination. Women need time to prepare for trips like these and a lot of thought goes into what clothes and other accessories to bring along. She will feel very uncomfortable with this so called surprise. Tell her where she is going but don't tell her about the proposal. Make that the surprise.
