AA 2x EQM/RDM ORD (& DFW) to LAX & SFO; will UA match?
Double EQM & RDM ORD-LAX/ORD-SFO - also DFW-LAX/SFO. Seems to target the VX competition too.

Just book a round-trip ticket and fly on American Airlines between Chicago O'Hare or DFW and Los Angeles or San Francisco from October 27, 2011, through March 31, 2012. You'll earn double flight miles AND double elite-qualifying miles, the miles that bring you closer to AAdvantage elite status membership - at an accelerated rate.

They just finished DEQM/DRDM back in Aug 31st for ORD-SFO/LAX.
Though this time AA also aim for DFW-LAX/SFO.

Interesting... I only need 2,500, maybe 3,000 more miles in December, but don't have anything booked yet. So this wouldn't help me if UA matched this year...but Q1Y12, now that's interesting. Might even give AA a go of it for Q1...been tempted to try it, although UA has been "nice" to me recently.
