Purpose of adding 2nd FF number to flight
I am 1P in United, but am flying LH metal soon, under reservation there is option to add 2nd or 3rd FF number----is there any purpose or benefit to me in entering my LH FF number as secondary FF to the confirmation???

I took an intra-European flight on LH last year that wouldn't have gotten MP miles, but would get LH miles. So I accrued on LH and used my UA number for 1K/*G perks.
