United and US Ariway Code Share
I'm flying sfo-bos on United and after a 2 hr stop I head to CLT which is operated by US Airways. A couple of questions:
1) Do I check in with both United for the SFO-BOS leg and US Airways on the Bos-CT leg?
2) When I check my luggage, it's safe to assume that it will follow me to CLT right?

Assuming this is a single ticket you check in once with United and they'll give you both boarding passes. They will also tag your bags all the way through so unless they are lost or otherwise mishandled they'll be delivered to CLT along with you.
