Think I've decided to go to "cheapest airfare available" travel, and will thus be tossing the Presidential Plus card. Do I need to use my FlexEQM first, or do the FlexEQM stay with my OnePass account even if I no longer have the Presidential Plus card?

As a FF, you don't think it's good to have lounge access in most US airports anyway?Originally Posted by raehl311

I either fly out of MSP or through ORD, where the RJ drops me on the F concourse right next to the Skyclub there, and have another 6 months left on my SkyClub membership.Originally Posted by aacharya

I also prefer Skyclubs to RCC's.
And, if I am going to get lounge access through a CC, Amex Plat would get me DL and US lounges.
And, in a pinch, if I decide to keep a Mileage Plus card, I can get a couple discount passes for the rare occasions I might need access somewhere else.
If my travel patterns change I might pick the card up again, but as of now the value just isn't there.

UAInsider has replied that the previously posted T&C's indicating FlexEQM would be removed from your OnePass account if you cancelled the Presidential Plus card was incorrect. The FlexEQM will stay in your OnePass account and will expire within 39 months of the end of the calendar year in which they were deposited. For FlexEQMs deposited before 1/1/12, there is no expiration date.Originally Posted by raehl311

I believe the Plat AmEx will only get you SC access if you are flying on a DL flight.Originally Posted by raehl311
