Reward Availability
I was just looking up reward availability for flights for this week NYC-TLV. There was a ton of availability in saver pass / easy pass for both Y and J. Then walked away from the computer, came back 15 minutes later and there is now 0 availability for all of april and may except for today. What gives? Just checked some random cities and same thing for april/may. Anyone else notice this?

Grab it and go. I've been lucky enough to find a good award seat twice this year, but it required patience and pulling the trigger on the spot. If the plans all go south you can have the miles re-credited to you account by the 1K desk. Assuming you've asked for and received the status match.

I don't understand why you would wait for even one second...but perhaps you were never Medallion on DL SM and don't realize how precious low-level award inventory is
Book first, now, before you think about it or call anyone. Exactly the same procedure as a giant misfile.

I think you guys are all missing the point. I agree that availability comes and goes. I think this time it was some sort of a glitch with continental.com with availability disappearing all together for all options and to multiple destinations including the one I was looking up. The issue was resolved an hour or two later. Currently there is availability every day this week with multiple options in both Y and J so this wasn't a matter of seeing availability and it disappearing because I didn't book it.

OP it sounds like CO was resetting their reward seat system availability, and when it disappeared it looked like it was a system glitch.
Everyone else it sounds like you believe the existence of any reward saver availability is a system glitch

How far ahead are you trying to book for? Just curious. I won't be able to book until end of July (thats when I will have enough miles for round trip) for my October trip. I hope that I will be able to get it
I wish I could book now while they have it
