There are at least two with leather seats -- I was on them from SFO to HNL and HNL to SFO. Don't know the numbers, but the difference was that one still had the projector and the other one had a big LCD in F.

I recently flew on it from SFO to OGG - leather seats are a big improvement over the old cloth seats.

The 767 back to LAX was pathetic - old and filthy cloth seats, wall paneling falling off, no flight deck security cables, etc...

N816UA is back in the air as of Friday.

That was the A319 that landed with one of the main gears stuck in the semi-up position at EWR on 1/10 (IIRC).

Appears that the trial of N593UA might be over - hearing reports (and finding for myself) that leather is being installed in the F cabin on a number of 757s. N590UA had leather in F last night, for example.

What about the new Y seats?

They were cloth on N590UA.

Are they going to use the new seats they installed on 593 or was that scrapped?

flew it again today (Tues, UA34) nose number 5213, new leather interior in the domestic 772.

does 5213 -> N213UA? Is that how that works?

777 are all 2xxx

2 class 777 are 25xx (2510-2515)

So N213UA would be 2513, not 5213.

All the ones beginning with "5" are the 757s, yes?

Status Of N593UA(Ship 5093)'s Interior?
 

It's been a while since anyone has talked about 5093, the 752 that was retrofitted with UA's experimental leather seats. Has UA decided will happen with these seats (will the rest of the domestic fleet be getting them)? Has 5093 been reconfigured back to the normal seating configuration of a 752?

No updates as of yet, but the leather is being installed in F on much of the domestic fleet.
