When does LHR T2 close?

So it's 2009, nearly a year has passed and SkyTeam are enjoying their new home in T4 while Terminal 2 is just a pile of rubble.

Well that was the original plan, but now the move to T4 had been put back to this year sometime.

So does anyone know the current schedule for the airlines to move out of T2 and for the terminal to finally close?

I've got a trip on AF booked in March and it'd be great to be flying from T4 (I can book the Hilton), but if they're definitely still going to be in T2 I'll book something on Bath Road near to a TFL bus stop.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I'm stuck in T2 for this trip then.

There goes the free WiFi from the AZ lounge

Good news as I'll probably be travelling more *A in the future due to the changes with FlyingBlue.

Also if I am flying AF/AZ/OK then at least the terminal is going to be less crowded.

Presumably the new ST lounge will be open in time for this move?

Then with so many airlines in T4 we may be wishing for the calm of T2 again
