Secret, legal, cheap way to use Heathrow Express 4 days in October
On two weekends in October, there will be track work on the Picadilly Line. I don't have a calender with me but I think it is October 15, 16, 22, and 23rd. For those days, if you buy a zone 1-6 day pass, you can use it on the Heathrow Express and save quite a bit.
I did this during one weekend in September. Some passengers bought a regular Heathrow Express ticket.
