Easyjet still do require photo ID for all flights, including domestics. As with all LCCs it is for revenue protection reasons. BA do not require photo ID on a domestic, unless you are checking in a bag.

No, but that's down to easyJet policy, not to legal requirement. Their reason for having photo ID is commercial - to stop resellers buying all the cheap tickets.
