FFB account -> Aadvantage .. do miles expire?

FFB account -> Aadvantage .. do miles expire?
Should my FFB miles have an expiration date when I transfer them to my Aadvantage account?
I called today to update my FFB account address and gave them my Aadvantage number and opted to do the transfer today. In my Aadvantage account, they show up as 'miles with expiration deferred through 8/14/2004.'

Just make sure that you do something to your account once every three years (e.g., Visa card, hotel stay, flight, cashing in, etc.) and you will be fine.
You probably should have requested the 15,000 mileage award before transfering, but too late now.

What do you need to do in oder to get the 15,000 miles award?
