Better Join AAdvantage to Convert Aviator Miles
It looks like Aviator members will need to open an AAdvantage account (if not already a member). Today's American Airlines' ad in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch states:
"Now that the sale is approved, Aviators' members who enroll in the American Airlines AAdvantage program will receive AAdvantage miles for the full balance in their Aviators portfolios, once the TWA Aviators program ends in approximately six months."
This is unlike the original announcement that an AAdvantage account will be opened for those who do not have an account.
It is suggested that the identical name, initials, etc., be used when opening the AAdvantage account.
