TWA to Expand Service in Lincoln, Nebraska

Lincoln Airport Authority officials today announced that starting March 12, 2001, TWA will be expanding its presence in Lincoln, Nebraska by adding a sixth daily nonstop to its St. Louis Hub. This additional departure will be a Trans World Express® 50-seat Embraer 145Regional Jet operated by TWA regional jet service provider Chautauqua Airlines. The Flight (TWA# 4608) will depart Lincoln at 5:30 a.m. and arrive in St. Louis at 6:40 a.m., connecting Lincoln travelers to TWA's 7:30 a.m. bank of east coast departures. The return flight (TWA # 4611) will depart St. Louis at 10:30 p.m. and arrive back in Lincoln at 11:55 p.m. TWA currently serves Lincoln, Nebraska with 5 daily nonstop jet departures per day to its St. Louis hub. A mix of 100-seat DC-9 and 50 seat Embraer 145 Regional Jets are currently flown between Lincoln and St. Louis.
