The whole terminal at JFK for TWA is pretty unique. Unfortunately gone are the days of the Constellation Club that was there. The Ambassador's Club at JFK is quite large compared to some of the other clubs, you will find a full time bartender (usually very friendly) and usually 3 receptionists to assist you with any flight matters that you may have. Alcoholic drinks are of a nominal charge, with soft drinks, coffee, tea being free. They have an assortment of snacks and usually cheese and crackers set out. Something unique about the club is the Sparrows that live within that terminal often fly down looking for food. The only problem is that the club is located on the second floor at the entrance of the terminal, and sometimes getting past the metal detectors to get to your flight can be time consuming. So you may have to depart the club a bit earlier than you would like to. Otherwise, its one of the better run clubs TWA has.

It is I agree a pretty neat club. Very unique. It is a fairly comfortable place to relax and work. The enormous windows are a big distraction though. One thing I wish they would do, however, would be to somehow get rid of the birds that inhabit the upper spaces of the windows and leave their droppings on the windows. Pretty nasty.

The attendants are very helpful in there, they've assisted me numerous times with delays, reroutes, etc.

Based on all the problems at LaGuardia recently, I'd much rather fly out of JFK these days.
