Help Upgrade

For Christmas my family is going to Denver for a family re-union. My father used to fly TWA a lot in the past so his upgrade to First Class was really not a problem. He does not have enough miles for the rest of us though.

Does anyone know the best way to get the upgrade.

The Roundtrip flight consists of BWI - STL - DEN.

Any info is appreciated...

This info used to be on TWA's website, but now one must download it to Adobe from TWA's website:

Caddy-

If your dad has any status, say Elite1, he could upgrade one or two others if they are on the same record locater, maybe some fee involved or pay full fare and then upgrade if seats available - no status needed, used to be able to upgrade at time of ticketing on full fare - thats all I can think of.

Thanks guys...

I'm having my father check since this will be my first flight on TWA and don't have the 5,000 miles required.
